Taking stock

Yet again it is an over due blog from You Say Towers. There are dozens of reasons, some very dull and not worth boring you and dare I say it some of those are probably excuses. However we are going through a great period of change which will lead to new opportunities.

Over the summer a contract with the Soil Association came to an end, at least in the medium term as we would jump at the chance to be back. We worked with the charity for over two and a half years and in that time managed Organic September, the Duchy Originals Future Farming Programme, helped manage the busy Press Office, launched various groundbreaking reports, managed the Food for Life response to the School Food Plan and lots more! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with them and learn so much about food and farming.

On that we are delighted to be the new PR agency for Countryside Classroom, more on that in the coming months as we plan their launch and social media activities. The work is keeping us busy and as we are passionate about food, particularly young people's access and knowledge of food and where it comes from it is an honour to be working with the team behind it.

Finally we are working with our long-term client Luke Hasell from Story Farm on Valley Fest! It is in just over a fortnight so it is all go sorting interviews, competitions, guest lists, photographers... the list goes on. Huey Morgan is one of the headlines - check out his awesome interview on Bristol 24/7.

So forgive us for another hiatus and we promise we will be back really soon, in fact we can guarantee it because Meaghan our new intern is writing the next few posts!

Off to tell myself off again for not practicing what I preach!
