As an adopted Bristolian who came here via Manchester and Cornwall I am passionate about the city I now call home and equally passionate about food. Heck that's part of the reason I set up this very agency so I could kill the hideous commutes and to concentrate on food as a PR offering.
So you can imagine my delight when I heard that the BBC, along with the Council were not only bringing the Radio 4 Food and Farming awards to Bristol but capitalising on it with a two week celebration, called Food Connections. Coordinated by the amazingly talented Lorna Knapman of Love Food Festival fame it's going to be a coup de force on the food calendar!
Taking in the already successful Eat Drink Bristol Fashion put on by Luke Hasell, Josh Eggleton and Amelia Twine and adding learning zones, a food festival and much much more yet to be announced it is going to continue to put Bristol on the food map.
I am delighted to be working on a secret project for a client at the moment that would add a never seen before element and ensure a field to fork ethos across the festival. Watch this space!
